I have to admit I was shocked like 100% of the fight fans in seeing Sergio Koing Williams (Williams got caught by a punch he didn't see) in the 2nd round. I think it should be a rubber match between them one day soon. Anyway, IMHO I think James Kirkland would be a good fight for either Pacman or Sergio. Kirkland, is at 154 and has a fight scheduled soon and he's from Texas. Since Pacman likes fighting in Texas this would be a great credible fight for him against a native Texan who undefeated with a "so called " crowd pleasing style. Kirkland, has the style (an exciting one at that) and punch to Ko either one of them. Lets see if they take the undefeated hard hitting Kirkland on.

Kirkland would feel like he's in a prison shower against either one of them.

James Kirkland is NOT a top fighter.

I'm willing to excuse this dumb thread ONLY because of your avatar. Thats a bad *****!

Kirkland is tough but slow. He isn't a very sound boxer and he doesn't have big power either. Both guys beat him up, Martinez probably drops him and Pac keeps him turning in the center of the ring ala the Margo fight.

Kirkland has no defense and he actually doesn't hit THAT hard. He's a strong volume puncher. Angulo hits a lot harder. Cintron does too.

Who need defense when you can shoot LOL. He's not a volume puncher but a volume shooter, nothing but automatic rifle.

If he didn't get his stupid self sent to prison he could have been in contention for a big fight. At the moment hes far away from fighting any of the top guys.

I'd prefer Kirkland v Angulo first up anyway :yep

Kirkland not at this stage he still has to develop he is a good prospect but the power and defense is suspect... especially the defense he uses his head to block more then his gloves.

Exciting fight sure, but Kirkland will not win

Kirkland, has 22 kos in 25 wins and has been a pro since 2002, so he's not exactly Green. Also, Kirkland is only 26 and undefeated and from Texas were Pacman likes to fight. Also, at 154 he's a a good catchweight to fight either guy and has a so called crowd pleasing style. i just don't see Sergio or Pacman trading bombs with him and surviving.

Ooo his last two fights were in TX.
It's not like there was a choice in the Matter being TX was the only state Margarito could get a license.
