Why is his nickname the ''mandingo warrior''? Is it really as obivous as it seems? Gotta be the most corny out of everything i heard if thats the caseatsch
I don't know about the nickname, but he ****ed up leaving (M)Ann Wolfe. When she trains him, he has superhuman conditioning that helps to cover up and negate his horrendous glass jaw to some extent. His stamina is unreal when she's training him, and she helped resurrect his career after the embarrassing Ishida KO. Leaving her was the wrong move. I expect him to look like garbage in his next fight under a new trainer, much as he looked in the fights before the Angulo fight where he joined forces with Wolfe again. Note this is all coming from a fan of Kirkland's. I like watching him fight a lot, but he's screwing up his career right now.
