He seems like a strong fighter who hits hard. But I think someone like Forrest would outbox him easily. bECAUSE FROM ALL THE FIGHTS i SEEN, HE CAN'T BOX JUST BRAWL. But I would like to see him again

Forrest is overrated. A washed up Quartey beat him.

This is the ONLY HBO fight that I missed. :(

Is there video up yet? It only lasted like a minute right?

I think Kirkland might just be strong enough to starch Forrest (which is saying something) if he can pounce on him right away. The deeper it goes, the more you have to favor Forrest, most likely by accumulation stoppage.

Kirkland reminds me of Michael Katsidis.

:good, and once that great boxer fights him. He will probably lose. But I will like to see more of him. You should get in the Berto>Gamboa chat

Pretty much (funny thing is...I agree totally...and the Kirkland fight was ALSO the only one I missed...I went to the door to pay for the chinese food...and by the time I got back upstairs it was over :rofl ).

Id favor Forrest every time out...but Kirkland seems like a dangerous fighter.

Yeah. Late in the game to change his stripes too. He'll probably snatch a belt but never be a division ruler.

i dont see any of the prospects at 154 developing into a threat for cotto when cotto decides to move up down the road angulo reminds me on margarito a little bit he doesnt get enough leverage on the legs when he throws his combinations especially his punches to the body he is a little faster than marg. i believe but his punches doesnt have the fluid motion tha promotes power he also has a very high output and is very easy to counter but guitierres punches were very wide

I also saw Margarito-ness in Angulo, tough mexican fighter with less than great footwork, plodding style, and of course pretty good chin as he cought some lean punches from the columbian.
