i swear i love this guy. Yeah he has flaws, but what a determined operator he is. I have'nt seen a more vicious and all out aggressive exciting fighter since the early Nigel Benn and Tyson fights. I hope he goes all the way.

He's entertaining early on in fights, but he's C+ level and I would be shocked if he ever picked up a world title. The guy is basically a JMW version of Katsidis, except with less power and stamina.

Fans have to love him. He comes to fight and has serious power. I saw him get off the deck against Conyers in the 1st round only to knock him out that same round. This guy fights you like you stole something from him. Win or lose, he's going to be fun to watch. I don't see too many guys at 154 beating him right now.

i dont think we know about his stamina as his fights dont tend to last too long, cant agree with the fact he has less power either as his victims will testify. Like i said he has flaws, but you shouldnt be suprised if he becomes world champion because he will.

    Are you serious?

Kirkland is like every other aggressive fighter that comes along every year or so. They make for exciting fights, but they lack technical skills and the ability to box, which is needed on the top levels of the sport.

if you watch kirkland hes not like any other aggressive fighter. He dosent have great silky boxing skills, but he dosent need to. The intensity that he brings to the table most fighters cannot live with. Kelly Pavlik isnt a great boxer either, but he brings the heat and most fighters cannot cope with it. watch pavlik against miranda, didnt see any boxing there, just plenty of fighting.

but again i use Nigel Benn as a comparison. Watch the early benn fights, he just came in there to take your head off. He was beaten eventually by boxers (eubank, watson) but still was a world champion at 2 weights. Their style is very similar, all out agression, little regard for defence, but kirkland will 100% be a world champion.
