James Kirkland's chin....

Yes indeed. Pirog already exposed one hype job, why not another?

 

I actually think Kirkland would do better against Pirog than Jacobs.

 

Kirkland is my man. He got hit with a good shot, withstood it and came back harder. I like Sergio but he has been koed once and been knocked down three times. Kirkland, has a good chin and is an all action fighter who beat you till you lay down or quit.

As much as I respect Sergio, Kirkland can easily hurt him and Ko him with a good shot. Kirkland hits harder than PWill and Sergay D guy, believe that.

Of course that he has a chance, Martinez was gased against Dzinziruk in round 7 before the stoppage. He's 36 years old, doesn't have many fights left...

 

Obviously guys got a punchers chance, and nobody would ever think Dzin hits even close to as hard as Kirkland but come on man, no way, not now at least, he would get dog walked.

Martinez movement and own power would merk the **** out of Kirkland at this point.

I think Martinez is certainly overrated but nobody is more overrated on this site right now than Kirkland.

 

I like Sergio but your right he does get gassed in fights. That first PWill fight he got tired and kept taking breaks and falling on the canvas late in fights. Last week the commentators notice he did the same thing before he got the Ko. He gases against Kirkland that's all she wrote!

 

And even though he hits harder than PWill and Dzin, in no way is he near the fighter they are at this point either. Seriously, this guy is gonna be the next Lacy if he gets moved along like this.

Kirkland is great for boxing and as exciting to watch as any fighter out there but this is ridiculous how many people wanna throw him to the top dogs already.

 

As a Kirkland fan, I will admit he needs to tighten up his defense some. Kirkland is an action packed fighter and he needs to stay in shape which I think he will. They are keeping him busy and that's a good thing. Kirkland, has explosive power which makes him a threat agaist any champion at 154 and 160.

Yea he needs to tighten his defense but the question is CAN he. And if he did he probably wouldn't have the same style he has now. He fights the way he fights, and I doubt he will ever have a very good defense, but even without he still may become a champ, but not close to right now.

 

I think he needs to fight a guy like Andy Lee which is realist at this point. I believe this will be a legit win against a top contender and alot of questions will be asked. After an Andy lee fight then he can take on any of the world champs.
