James Kirkland's nickname is one of the lamest I've ever heard...

Look at his corner people.....what do you expect? Have you seen that chick Ann Wolf or w/e her name is in an interview? She acts as if she is about to rob the guy with the mic....like she is a dude or something. LMAO

He will never get to be a world class fighter with those types of people in his corner. Most world class fighters have world class trainers. Very seldom does it happen otherwise. I think cases like Calzaghe are the exception to the rule.

That's probably because you are not accustomed to the term...and dont know or understand the significance... I dont see it as lame. But I guess opinions are like assholes...we all have them...and they stink...

    lmao Mandigo...fckin' hilarious...
Kirkland does put in work but gets tired rather quickly...against a fighter who can take Kirklands punches but also dish it out..Kirkland would have some major problems. he gets hit with the right hand cross to often and a fighter like Alfredo Angulo would lay his ass out with a right hand left hook combo...perfect combo against southpaws... keep moving to the southpaws right, your left (if your orthodox) and shoot off that right hand left hook combo, i think Angulo would actually KO kirkland, late tho..

Well despite the odd name, he still has looked good in the ring.

Now, "Mango Warrior"...that has a certain cool and ludicrous ring to it.

Vera would have gone the distance without the ref pulling him out so theres definetly a question if his power will carry to the elite level, his handspeed isn't very good either.

check out a boxer named jack gay no alias but the name is sad enough and to top it off he only fought one fight against a man called big boy scott.
    how sick is that.
imagine the bill board in 1933 jack gay vs big boy scott...lol. sounds like a drag gig.

Uh his hand speed is good that's not the problem. The problem is his stamina and he doesn't have great boxing skills. Angulo's hands are much slower than his.
