This is a brilliant study on Toney`s shoulder roll, what was the key to unlocking this effective stance and style?

Very good video but for some reason the link didn’t show up as a hyperlink in your post.

Cool establishment of familiar concepts. Modern MA always has good vids. Wish he'd do the weaknesses though, like against Griffin.

It's interesting to see an extremely aggressive fighter like Roman Gonzalez utilise the same concepts as well, even the shoulder blocks. Dempsey was good at it as well.

It someone else that messaged me the vid, there`s good youtube channel called Reemus boxing that used to do weaknesses of elite boxers from the past but he seems to have stopped, he would have done a great vid on Toney another youtube guy said Toney couldn`t cut the ring off on Roy which was a big weakness in his game.

I've been watching Reemus for years. His old stuff was great. His channel is honestly **** now. Constantly shilling his product / website.

Yes, I wondered what the hell happened, 'the mindset of a champ' and all that crap, I don`t even bother watching his vids no more.

After watching that im curious who'd win a phone booth battle, Duran or Toney.

Given the size difference, and if it's MW Duran speed difference, I'd say Toney quite comfortably

Toney IMO. Bigger, faster and on that same level of skill. Not like Duran is gonna KO him either.

I agree with that Toney would get the better of Duran. However, I aways felt that Hagler might outhustle Toney on the Inside at 160.

He didn`t land much though, specifically in the rematch where there wasn`t much action at all.

Duran was more skillfull but at 160 he was less effective.

Actually Toney outthrew and outlanded Griffin in both fights according to punch stats.Landed the harder blows too
