I'm high-key really curious to know just what the buy rate winds up being, and whether it outpaces some of Fite's other internet PPV offerings despite the pricepoint being double or triple customary.
Unlimited division and yet they happen to end up within < 7oz of each other at the scales? Wild if a coincidence...or maybe they had a contracted agreement on 225?
I would pay actual money to see Fite or Don King's real accounts, I just don't believe the numbers they put out. And if the numbers are real I want to meet the buyers.
You two luddites realise you can switch autocorrect off, right? Killing autocorrect and predictive text is one of the very first things I do when I purchase a new phone.
Just checked the venue's event ticketing page and this actually kicks off earlier with doors at 6pm local time in Las Vegas, which is 9pm EST, and show at 7pm (10pm EST). So the PPV cost might not include coverage of the full undercard. The weird thing is that only 6 bouts are listed on BoxRec and Fite.tv has all six listed on the PPV details. So the crowd is going to just sit for two hours with no live action? That or it actually does start earlier and some of it just won't make the broadcast.
If you hear anything, keep me updated. I am going to try to log on to my FITE TV link beginning at 9 or 10 just to see if I can get in!
Who you got on this one? Trying to make a little wager. Rahman is the underdog so there's more money to be made on him.
It's a really hard one to call. I can't find much footage on Rahman Jr, but from I've heard and read, he's the superior boxer, but Morrison, who I have seen a few fights from, seems to be the more heavy handed of the two, nand can hold his own skill wise. So I'm cautiously leaning towards Morrison. Because I think he'll be competitive enough to land enough to hurt him.
I feel like fite TV should put on some heavyweight tournament with B rated heavies, you got these two guys, Balogun, Forrest, maybe Hunter, Kingsley Ibeh, Guido Vianello, and let's throw in a wildcard, Terrell Jamal Woods in it. Winner gets a top ten spot in someones ranking. Would it be good? Maybe Would I be interested? Yes Could it be horrible? Also yes But it would get some of these guys active and bring maybe a little buzz to a couple of them
Hard to bet on Morrison if you're leaning towards him when the odds are -170. Was hoping you said Rahman.
This one truly is a 50/50 though, there's not really enough footage or info out there to make any decision with real confidence behind it, they're both the definition of unproven. They both could be bums packing glass, or they both could be next level brilliant and produce a Glanton-Apochi like war.
Saw this on the PPV section of my IPTV service earlier. Ill definitely tune in, will there be an rbr tho?
