They just did away with the judges and - apparently arbitrarily - had the ref declare it a draw!!

WTF!! Is that even legal?

Or did they have some clause in their contracts that allowed them a) reduce the length of a round in the middle of a fight; and b) inexplicably change from having judges scoring fights to having the ref the sole scorer?

 

40+ years of watching boxing and I have never seen anything like it. They just seemed to make it up on the fly.

I suppose it would be okay if they had said it was an exhibition in advance, which is, in effect what it seemed to become

Truthfully this broadcast was one of the worst I've ever seen.

The ring announcer couldn't get names straight on some of these fighters, got confused on the results of some of the fights, among many other instances of incompetence on this telecast.

 

Some group headed by Ruddock's daughter. It was apparently a benefit for charity - which is about the only thing that makes me happy for shelling out $30 for this crap!
