Hey bud, we appreciate the support, I can tell you'd also like to see him do well this time around...but, #Suspect chin? Page had never been stopped tiL #Lewis, and there was so much political set-up behind all that, Stevie Wonder cud see it coming. His previous losses 2 of which some say he won, but we're split decisions against former champs Stevie Johnson & Zack Padilla...the 3rd n 4th losses against journeyman Robert West & Andrew Lewis, Page did not train...yes, his fault, but nevertheless neither Lewis or West cud beat a 'trained Page', he'd smoke both easily....by the way, Oscar wudda probably been down to #War, but he wud not had survived...the Macho-ism wudda come out of Oscar which wudda made him #fight and give fans what they like to see, but to his disparity things just wouldn't had favored the Golden Boy....We were seeking a WBA/IBF Unification fight with 'Tito', but #DK had too much invested in Tito, kinda like Arum does with Pacquiao, to put him in with Page that soon....but #TeamPage definitely wanted the fight.
lol' u remember Big George sayn that huh....think about all thats going on in boxing right now...especially in the division Page is in and the catch-weight n diff movin' around the Welters are doing inorder to fight the better of the fighters out there...nice time for a Page comeback. Golden Boy is hurting for Canelo opponents...Bundrage should get the Canelo fight on Sept 15th, should he get past Spinks this weekend, as expected. theyalready dismissed #Trout n #Quintana, so aside from these 3 guys n #Lara, whO else is there? ..........Page/Canelo eventually. of course he'd be looked-past, but, the ones that knoW of #Page, look for the upset, whenever it takes place.
http://jamespage.eventbrite.com/ NOVEMBER 17th, 2012 It's 'The Return of the Mighty Quinn', James Page. A quest at HiStory! - Thanks for those who support! #TEAMPAGE2012 @mightyquinn154 @millinc @iamdeemiller on Twitter!
you didnt hear about reggie johnson's comeback either no? it's like that nas song "where are they now". loads of fighter form the 90's pop out of nowhere. hugo pineda, vaszquez, robin reid, kieth mullings, ottke (but he has stopped that idea since suggesting it), robert allen, kieth holmes, jorge f castro, harry simon e.t.c. there should be a 174/168 carnival of the 90's comeback tour with a ton of fighters on their comeback to make a big event and allow them to leave in some form of respect and decent amount of money to add to it.
Coming back at 154. Most guys making a comeback are wayy out of shape and way outside of their weight-class. This should be interesting. Stay tuned.
I cannot tell you how oddly depressing it is to me that I didn't remember this thread and came in to say this same thing again. :-(
