    Could James Scott had moved up to heavy and had reasonable success at a time when there were 180 pound heavyweights?

    I don't see any reason why he couldn't have been a serious contender in some past eras.

    He could have had some success in the 30,s /40 s has a contender .Obviously if he ever set foot in a ring with Joe Louis he'd be murdered !
