If Marciano faced Tillis of the Tyson fight , in place of Roland LaStarza in their first meeting ? The Marciano v LaStarza bout in 50 was a close fight ,would Tillis improve on that , showing sign s of the good work he did against a young Tyson ? 10 rounds
The real question is, could Marciano beat Johnny du Plooy? If he can't, then I don't see him beating Tillis either.
I would give Tillis a good shot of winning this fight.Of course Rocky improved considerably after their first fight ,something Lastarza remarked on.
Tillis was pretty good in all fairness. Over ten rounds he might have a shot. Make it 12 and I'll take Marciano and make it 15 and I'll bet my cardboard box AND Oreo cookies on the Rock.
Yep , he got better after their first fight, coming close to losing may have made him up his game a little and work on a few things? As for the fight, crafty , tough Tillis , I think could take Marciano to a very tight decision here .Good movement , decent jab , showed a lot against Tyson.
