They are scheduled to fight in September. Toney will be 43, Adamek may be in his prime.

If Toney was in his 2003 form and Adamek in his 2010 form, how would the fight go?

I don't think Adamek ever saw a day as a heavyweight that could be called "prime".

Why not? Toney 2003 vs. Adamek 2010... or even now, it could never happen so we can only speculate. It's just as "classic" as anything else.

...or would you rather read another post about how "almost" great Jerry Quarry was (but he really wasn't)?

Toney of the Jirov fight would absolutely dismantle him. 2003 Toney doesn't have the stamina IMO.

Adamek is somewhat similiar to Zombie Holy, but with stamina... but no balance or power.

Point is, dude is painfully mediocre despite warrior spirit, so a non-obese '03 Toney counters him to a late stoppage, in a schooling far worse than one-armed Eddie put on him.
