Yep, prety sure Toney weighs in at 400+ for this fight. Sounds like a smart bet to me.

Toney will KO him. He has the advantage if they stand up and in the clinch. Couture's only shot is the ground but unfortunately for him he has to take shots from the master counterpuncher to get there and don't forget

Don't forget that Toney's football background may serve him, he is used to rough stuff. Toney is also very strong and no push over even on the ground.

Interesting, the experts lean toward Couture but some UFC fighters now think James may KO him.

Because Toney is such a knockout artist. And don't give me that 4 oz gloves bull****. Toney hasn't had above average power since he was at 168, and he's downright feather fisted for a heavyweight. Add to that the fact that he won't be able to set his feet, and he literally has no shot.

You are misaken. It does not take a big puncher to KO Couture. Look at his record and the guys who KOD him. Couture does not have the best chin. Toney' accuracy and the 4 OZ glove will do the job.

Toney's the one who asked for the fight. He's trying to get a bigger name, which is fine. I'm sure James thinks he can win. James has a gigantic ego. He also thinks he can beat the Klitschkos, but he can't.

As for the 4 oz gloves issue, the fact that he can't set his feet without becoming open for a takedown means he'll only be able to throw arm punches. That completely negates any effect of the 4 oz gloves. Toney has fought plenty of guys with shitty chins and hasn't been able to hurt any of them with one punch.

It's not like Couture's chin is Kimbo Slice level bad. And Couture's really a takedown artist anyway. Literally, the only way I can see Toney winning is if Couture tries to shoot in for a takedown and Toney times him on the way in, so the effect of the punch is magnified. But even then, I question whether Toney has enough power to knock him out. And if all he does is buzz Couture, it just puts Toney on the ground trying to finish off Couture, and Couture has the advantage on the ground. He needs a one punch knockout, and Toney hasn't had one of those in about 15 years.
