More of a kind request to be filled in about the story of Toney's career. Recently seen two of his fights, one against Jirov and another against Montell Griffin and what i saw from those two fights was amazing... i mean this guy seems like one of the most skilled boxers i have ever seen with a great 'im the greatest' attitude to boot

So really... what were his best fights that i should watch?

Was Toney on steroids for the Holyfield fight? - he looked in excellent condition, and i know he was banned at some point but not sure when

Thanks for anyone who takes the time out to fill me in on a legend

One of his best fights was against Holyfield. I think it was even his very best fight.

His three best performances (other than Jirov which you have already seen):

1.The first McCallum fight (it was scored but a draw but Toney clearly won)

2.Nunn (people speak of this as if Toney was getting whupped and then turned it all around with 1 punch: bull****. Toney had turned the fight around, had won the last couple of rounds, and was dominating at the time he landed the big punch)

    3.Barkley (masterclass)

That was just Toney night. He looked so damn strong in that fight. Such a shame, that he became so fat after that. Toney in this kind of shape would have beaten EVERYBODY out there.

the other posters already gave you the fights you absolutely have to watch.

Toney got busted for roids two times, against John Ruiz (fight turned into a NC, Toney had to give back the WBA belt) and against Danny Batchelder (SD win for Toney as Batchelder tested positive for the same roids too). Tested clean in all his other fights, so he's only been on roids for the 2 fights mentioned until proven otherwise.
