    Hopkins is 6ft 1, Toney 5ft 10.

    Yeah, you're probably right. I think Hopkins weighed in at about 181 on fight night against Tarver. I can envision him putting on some more muscle to be at around 200 lbs. With his work ethic, he could be scary good.

    In fairness Hopkins is still a pretty top quality fighter at 175 and Tony is barely top 10 HW, there is no reason the fight should happen.

    Other than novelty value of course :D

    This is a stupid idea. Hopkins fights at 175lbs and he is 43. How exactly is he going to put on over 25lbs to make heavyweight??

    James Toney weighed 244lbs against Rahman. Think about it. Stupid.

    sure, roy jones won his title against ruiz at 190 or so.

    Yeah, you're right. RJJ was at 193. So in that sense, maybe Hopkins will be motivated a little down the road. I would love to see it. I think Hopkins can be rock solid at about 190-195 with Macky Shilestone taking him up the right way.
