Funny cos this guy has been worshipping the KFC and disrespecting the gym since he beat Jirov.

The last fight he impressed me was Jirov and that was how many years ago now.

Vitali and Wlad KO him in 3 rounds. The guy is a fat nothing now.

He impressed me in those fights no doubt, and I love him as a fighter as he has so much natural skill. He has so much natural talent I am in awe of him in terms of some of the things he does, but he was was not training properely after Jirov, he used his skill to get by in my opinion.

If he had have been focused, maybe younger and in shape for Peter he would have absolutely destroyed him. I love Toney, a great technical boxer with great natural talent that cannot be taught.

If only he had have been dedicated.

    :patsch I mean seriously...

On one hand I'm of the opinion that this fat ****, who is a non-factor at HW and should have retired years ago before he started embarrassing the HW division by turning up in Butterbean shape, doesn't deserve another payday, because that's all he's aiming for, and should just go way.

On the other hand maybe a Klitschko fight should be made to shut that delusional **** up now and forever. I'm sick and tired of classless low lives like Toney and Haye who think talking and behaving like an infantile ****** is the way to a title fight.

It was a close fight, end of story. Toney hurt Fres on a couple of occasions and landed the heavier shots. Toney has rededicated himself again, Just read the report on the sweet science.

yeah he's re dedicated and no longer fat

what's sad is he beat Holyfield ... yet since then it's been Holyfield who's gotten 2 shots at champions yet nada for Toney

**and Blade 2 how can you even mention the second Rahman as an impressive performance for Toney?.. the fact the fight went 3 rounds and ended as a NC because of a Toney headbutt (not saying he did it on purpose)

but I saw it live, and while Toney did do decent, i recall him not seeming to do anything significant before the clash of heads.

furthermore how he fell to the ground post fight was utterly pathetic. (when the fight was originally announced as a win for him.)

I understand your concerns and they are somewhat justified as Toney has let the fans down in the past.

I agree that Areola is a more credible opponent.Howevr, apparently Arreola does not want the fight. Chambers will fight Wlad. So, who else is out there?

im just we can hear re dedicated all we want, but I won't be a believer until I can see Toney go a solid hard 12 rounds .. and that hasn't been done in a while

as for challengers for Vitali .. not so many left .. Haye wimped out, Maskaev got declined
if Toney can win a fight or 2 ... i'd think he could make a very legit case for getting a shot at Vitali

**that's how Holyfield got the shot at Ibragimov ... he didn't really beat anyone too too highly ranked (Oquendo was the best name he beat I believe)

but the point is Holy kept winning impressively.

if Toney could do that .. at the very least he'd be in position to demand a shot at a title.

but these guys (and Haye included) would rather talk then fight

and with Povetkin + Chambers as mandatories (for the IBF and WBO)

you'd think there'd be more incentive for either Toney or Haye to step up to the plate and try to win fights

again look to the Holyfield example .... he went from completely off the map, to getting a title shot at Ibrag. granted he lost the fight, but how did he get that title shot in the first place?

    by winning fights.

something some fighters seem to forget (Toney and Haye)

    if that sounds logical.

your right, and Toney doesn't do anything that screams "title shot"

    so what is the point?

if Toney's just going to sit on the sidelines of course he won't get a title shot

he hasn't even fought once this year.

With arreola saying " I can"t get in shape in time" maybe Toney will get his dream shot with Vitali in LA

Ok, so now that Vitali-Haye is off, maybe Arreola could pass on Maskaev and fight Vitali, leaving Maskaev to fight Toney with the loser retiring and the winner going on to fight the winner of Vitali-Arreola?

Do you seriously think the winner of a Maskaev - Toney fight would be deserving of of a title shot? Neither of both should have ANY claim to a title shot and 0 + 0 is still 0.

Has Freddie more or less stated unequivocally that he'll never work with James again, even in a title shot situation?

Did they split amicably or acrimoniously?

If he were motivated, I'd actually be interested to see Lights Out step in against Wlad with the backing of a Wildcard strategy.
