James Toney Calls Steward a "Sell-out"

I love James as a boxer but he needs to stfu !

 

Too bad he needs to talk so much, for a man with such great natural gifts he sure likes to talk.

 

he is pretty interesting persona, he is gifted, likes to talk, likes to eat ... there is plenty of room for being exciting

 

Cmon JT, there are fights out there to be made. Yeah, the HW tourney in Brittan was a rip off, but that don't mean that you'd fight Welliver or Pulev for 6K. There are fights out there in the top 15, if made in america that would bring toney 6 digits, and that's good money at this level.
He needs to be making these fights, with the Rahmans, McCalls, Wellviers of the division. Guys he can outpoint or even KO and move up the ladder. He's had plenty of time and opportunity to make these, and get his 7 figure payday vs a Klitschko.

You know, James talk these last years has been annoying and sometimes downright stupid, because he can't back it up anymore. There is a hint of truth in his statements concerning Emmanuel Steward and the Klitschkos though, and many other in boxing do think the same way - the only thing is that nobody but Toney has the balls to talk about it.

Toney is just frustrated these days and should retire, but hey, he's an ATG and a living legend who fought everybody, upset the odds more than once and gave us many many great fights - in my book he has earned the right to open his big mouth and talk as much as he wants, even if it's bullsh*t

Toney is a victim of taking to much punchs.

 

He's done by now, but considering the Klits are running out of guys to fight, and Toney is down in weight, I can see him getting a fight with one of them in the near future.

 

He can talk the talk, I give him that!
