James Toney: Canelo Fights Like a $i$$$y. The Klitschko Sisters are Overated.

Toney is fortunate that he never stepped in with either Klitschko. Would have been treated like a heavy bag.

 

Toney kept calling out "the Bitchko Sisters" and was completely ignored by them. He hates them.

He's also a GGG fan.

 

i would agree Canelo fought Golovkin like a sissy. he said he had no fear but acted like there was a bogey on his tail most of the fight.

 

If Canelo fought Golovkin like a sissy, then how would you say Saunders fought Lemmy? Did Saunders fight DL like a sissy too?

 

all those dancing gypsies are sissies at heart, in my book. but Canelo was a chaser, until he met his match.

 

lol OK first of all Canelo wasn't exclusively a "chaser". He was the aggressor at times, in some of his fights, like when he fought Trout and Lara for example. But he was a patient boxer puncher / counter puncher when he fought Mayweather, Cotto, Khan, Smith, Chavez, etc.

Canelo is not this come forward aggressive plodding fighter that many fans try to make him out to be, to make that argument that he completely changed his style against Golovkin. Don't get me wrong, he did use more footwork and lateral motion vs Golovkin than he usually does, but it was a smart gameplan and it kept Golovkin off balance and won him a lot of rounds. He was not the one-dimensional always coming forward fighter you are trying to make it seem like he was before fighting Golovkin. We've seen plenty of fights that Canelo start slowly and patiently without cha

One thing that makes Canelo so tough is that he has a very free flowing style, depending on his opponent, he's very capable of being the aggressor or being the boxer puncher / counter puncher and switching between the two styles throughout the fight, mixing in upper body movement, and zig zaging to create space and angles.

 

El Pollo did fight like a chicken, but I think he knew Oscar owned the judges................Tony would have no chance against either Klitschko period! He would have been murdered!
