Toney's style would always be kryptonite to Holyfield. If you're taking a Cruiserweight Evander, don't forget you're getting a Cruiserweight Toney, too.

I respect Toney more as time goes on, and he should be 2nd out of the RJJ/Toney/Hopkins trio, with Roy leading the way. Because of his success at Cruiserweight and above, a strong case could be made for James being the best, but his lack of overall consistency and the lopsided loss to Roy makes me take the stance I do on it.

Strangely enough, a big part of his problem (and admittedly, a good deal of his success) is because he knew just how good he was. Anytime a fighter is really conscious of that, they run the risk of taking things too easy in training and coming out ripe for an upset because of it. If James' hunger stayed 100% in the ring instead of increasingly being fulfilled out of it as time went on, who knows what the guy could've accomplished? Guys with that kind of inside fighting skill shouldn't have been blessed with that kind of power and chin; if you were building that style of fighter from scratch, James would've been damn near ideal for it as is because of it.

Wonderful boxer, crafty, solid chin, one of the best resumes out there....and then he ****s it up for me by using roids. Good going Fat Ass!
