boxers hit harder than mma fighters in the stand up game, when using the fists. bruce lee has said it himself that the boxer is more dangerous when it comes to stand up man to man fighting where a man can not go down because it is looked down pon. a man cant flop on his back and catch a breather. you must stand a fight and take the punishment. couture knows that and wont stand with toney for that reason. people forget that toney started out his athletic career as a college football player in michigan. hes an athlete and i think this mma stuff really has him motivated. i hope he knocks couture out.

james toney has never been knocked out from middleweight to heavyweight.

never been knocked out in his pro career as a boxer.

this ufc fight will get more and more interesting as more truth comes out about james toney.

 

im just as pissed as toney is about ufc and mma fans. most of them dont know **** about the fight science, they just joined on because it seems fun to street fight in a cage. ive been watching ufc since the early 90's, before it was popular, and there was never a debate on mma vs boxing now all of a sudden its a little popular and boxers have no chance.

i cant wait for james toney to **** couture up.

 

i love how james toney gets pissed cause hes talking to a kid who knows nothing about boxing at all.

hes getting offended that this kid keeps askng him if he knows how to fight. james toneys been a legend for yearss and this kid has no idea who he is.

 

I like how he said...gather over your friends and watch it...but he prefers seperate houses..and that everyone should order it instead of pooling together.

I can't believe people can't see through this rubbish, Toney is a shot fighter.

HBO and Showtime won't zero to do with him. he can't hang with top 10 guys now.

Why on earth MMA would won't a 41 year old shot fighter, is flat out beyond me.

 

Fair enough with the boxing match but JT would have to oblige with
a Greco-Roman wrestling match to keep it even Steven....:yep

MMA is Randy's realm....where Boxing is James. Randy won't box James that's for sure. But I'm very impressed with James and his fighters spirit b/c the chips are stacked well against him. I think he'll do boxing proud by handling himself in there with Randy next month. I think he'll lose but he'll make it competitve.
