James Toney vs Couture would be the most logical. As far as big money sales, and as far as a realistic match-up with size and age. Not only that... with Couture's recent vulnerability on this feet mixed with Toney's lack of ground game, it would make for one hell of an interesting fight. Although I would figure Couture to win by mauling. However... with Couture age and slowed foot and head movement... you always have to wonder in the back of your mind, what if he gets caught...

Putting James Toney in there against someone like Lesnar would just be cruel. Although I am sure that would sell like crazy too... there just wouldn't be any doubt about who would win. Toney would have zero chance in that fight.

 

It's like when a MMA guy trys to box. When the fight a good fighter they get beat. Boxing is all hands too where mma is a mix. James needs to fight a guy like Chuck or once it gets to the ground he will be lost.

 

Toney makes me laugh. His mouth sells. The guy needs to fight at 205 maximum. At 205 it might be interesting to put him in some stand up fights. It depends if White will treat him as a commodity or will put him out for the wolves to feast on.

Chuck would too assuming he uses his takedowns, like he did against Wanderlei; if Chuck stands with him he would lose, depsite having very good kicks which would damage Toney, Chuck's reflexes are just too shot, which with a chin that is far from what it was is a disaster waiting to happen. Even Chucks power is starting to go, and the old cliche is that power is the last thing to go.

Tito should fight him, he would embarass him, and Toney just made a fool out of himself on that Fox Sports talk show; claiming that nobody could choke him out. He's an ignorant fat ****.

I agree. However with the way Kongo fights, I think he'll try and take Toney down. I'd love to see Toney knock him out though. I can't stand Kongo.
