Nearly anyone can outbox McCall. However, beware to every fighter to opts to out-bomb McCall. Toney was tough, but he was not a natural heavyweight when he was one, and wouldn't be able to outgun McCall in any prolonged exchanges.
Toney beat a shot to hell old Holy.Lot of fighters were better than this version Holy but the young Lennox was an awesome fighter
I would give Toney a shot at winning a decision. Not because he beat an old Evander but because he was a much better boxer than McCall and had the whiskers to hang with him. Not a guarantee of course but definitely possible
