The Crafty Mongoose works his way to a decision. Their styles were very similar, I think Walcott hits harder and would bang out a decision. Walcott went to hell and back when motivated. An old Holyfield was able to land cleanly on Toney for the first 3 rounds I don't see any reason Walcott couldn't do that for 15 rounds

I would never say a bad word about Jersey but let's be honest here.

Jersey faced an ATG in Louis and went 0-2 losing first on points then by brutal knockout.

Toney faced an ATG in Holy and stopped him.

I know which man I favour.

First loss to Louis was extremely close. Toney fought an 40 year old shot Holyfield. Your comparison doesn't really match in anyway.

I haven't seen the fll first fight so I don't know how close it was. I know there is no dispute as to the victor second time round.

Louis had already had a 4 year absence from the ring and as well as that it was like 11 years since he first won the HW title. He wasn't a spring chicken and was just as faded as Holyfield was.

The difference is Toney whipped his man and Jersey didn't.

Walcott easy. Joe was the far greater technical fighter, much better conditioned and a true hwt. Toney is not on the radar as a hwt even though he beat a shot Holyfield.

No, he beat an old man, who used to be an ATG.

Louis is arguably the best heavyweight ever, at the least top 5. The 40yr Holyfield maybe cracks top 15-20, but that version is nothing that can be rated on any high level.

Someone that is just looking at boxrec or something and sees a respected champion like Holyfield being stopped and not knowing the circumstances then yes it looks like an amazing win but in reality it was just an old man being beaten down by a very good fighter.

I can't really tell if you're trolling trying to make people angry or what

Walcott clearly won the first Louis fight.
Holy fought Toney with a bad shoulder that got operated on after the fight.
Walcott and Toney are two of my favorites so can't really decide on this one. Bad shoulder or not Toney did whip Holys butt.

In addition to a badly injured shoulder ( which can cost any man a victory ) evander was positively ancient, ring worn and on a losing streak..
