well there's little doubt Toney was set up again, but the fact remains he's and old and shot fighter. He hardly beat Baltacher.

 

He is just trying to get another big paycheck because he's broke. He is no real threat to any of the champs or top contenders unless he fights at or below 225 which we know wont happen in this lifetime..........

 

I can't believe some people are still hyping Toney. He is done.

 

why did they allowed him back to box, its a ****in shame and a black eye to boxing.

I heard Danny Batchelder demanding a rematch - under the promotional code " Say NO to Steroids"

 

Toney is a tomato can. Look at his last fight and tell me I am wrong. There should be a investagation on the scoring in his last fight which most observers felt he lost. He has not had a real win since Booker. The Russians would eat this chump for breakfast.

 

come on peeps calm down people forget that batchalder was on steroids to.the point why it was split in half is becuase of that.

anyways he's great for boxing...you know it wasnt that long ago when we were screaming bloody murder that he was robbed in the first peter fight. talk about 2 faced.

he still has the skills and if he really trains i think we could see somthing special. anyways he was a 200 pounder when he started boxing,he was a natural cusierwieght sweated down to middlewieght....if he wants to be a fat tub of lard so be it. let him have his lay off to eaither fatten up or sweat down.

He's obviously at the end of his career, but there is still somewhat of a market to see him fight, so he's merely hyping himself and fighting while he still can, even in a limited capacity, and is stockpiling the cash while he can. Cause once he gets a couple years older, he won't be able to earn this kind of money anymore.

Get it while you can.

But getting caught for steriods, yet again, is a bit rediculous. I also think they should not have reduced his penatly, seeing as how this is twice he's been caught.
