The steriod junkie, Burger King addict, he's a soon to be 40, fat 5-9 slurring loudmouth, ******* who couldn't hardly beat someone named Danny Batchlander???:-( He;s back alright!! at the buffet line!!!
:rofl ....Yeah, that's exactly what Toney would've said. It's scary to see how much he has changed. Toney looks like a completely different person nowadays.atsch
One of my most favorite fighters to watch, bring Toney vs Valuev at a catch weight of 300 lb Toney will say at the press conferense that he is a natural 300-pounder, that he was training day and night to make 300, and that he will put the sasquatch to sleep
He has got to past his drugs test first. Even the Americans are starting to realize that steroids give people an unfair advantage. Before you know it they might even clock on that Bullets fired from guns can kill people... But hey one step at a time
He could barely move around the ring when he fought Peter in the rematch. Man I can't imagine how imbolie he'd be at 300.
Make fun of Toney all you want, IF he gets back in decent shape (220-225 lbs) he'll still beat most of the top HWs out there. To be honest, there's no way he can beat Klitschko though...
Holyfiled just fought for a belt and many people were even picking him to win. The same old Holyman who lost his license to box in america because he was considered done. Toney is in much better state the Holyfield and has the skills to school anybody, he should focus on fighting smaller heavyweights, take on Byrd, Brewster, Ibragimov...he can still win a belt
I think Toney needs to get to 215lbs. I honestly think that would be optimum weight for him to fight at heavyweight and as someone said previously take on a few smaller heavyweights first in order to get his profile back up. I mean he clearly won the first fight with Peter so he CAN definatly hang with the bigger guys. I think a Toney well-trained at 215 could win a title again
Yes, I agree. Toney seems to be pidgeoned holed into a certain lacking state due to his inability to get his weight to a fightable level.............................., but if he were, repeat IF, he were to be able to get himself in a decent condition, like, say 220, he'd certainly beat most of the top tens............ I'd pick a conditioned, 220 pound Toney to beat all but the top four, or so, heavies.
err..he WAS a great fighter. He's done now...but he was one of the best fighters of a generation. For me he was THE best, I know I'll get accused of being biased.
Toney is just too short for the HWs. He should have stayed at the lower wheight classes, where he could have been a legend by now.
