    Honor.

I think we can have fun with this.

In a fight, honor is a fool's prize. You will find that many of the Greatest boxers ever were dishonourable ****s.

    They always used their advantages.

wow, you're actually going to try to use that as an argument? Yea, lets forget the fact Toney is a fat slob, 10-15 years outside of his prime and hasn't fought a single fight against any MMA fighter.

If you see no relevance to honor, you sound just like the stereotypical redneck UFC fan.

If Randy had stood with Toney for the sake of honor and got knocked out because of it, everyone, MMA and boxing fans alike, would be calling him a fool and an idiot for playing right into Toney's only strength.
This was an MMA match and Randy did exactly what was smart.

You wouldn't ask PBF to abandon his usual defensive style in a fight with Pac just for the sake of honor.

Oh, so you are a bigot.

    Congrats.

No need to explain your incredible argument.

If Randy really wanted to embarass Toney, he should've taken him down muiltiple times. I mean choke him almost out than stand back up, tackle him again and almost choke him out and stand up again......... After 3 or 4 tims Toney would say no more and that would've really proved a point about Toney being an inferior human in a fighting sense.

His takedown defence was AWFUL. Randy was scared to get so he shot a single from far out. If he couldn't stuff that, he can't stuff anything (apart from his mouth with food). James Toney at 237 can't beat the majority of top heavyweight boxers let alone a legendary mixed martial artist. That was embarassing. Still, it was funny looking for the lucky punch.

Toney doesn't represent boxing. Obviously MMA and boxing are different things, but
Toney is no top heavyweight boxer.

He could have stood his ground and pelted him with leg kicks and took him down any second he wanted to. To take him down immediately was pretty lame and gutless. But yea, he obviously wasn't fighting for the fans or for honor, he just didn't want to get KO'd and was scared to stand up, even for a second.

PBF will stand his ground a couple times throughout the fight! He did against Mosley and always does for a couple trades with anyone he fights. Sure, he likes to box and back away usually but don't get it twisted. He does trade here are there and then gets back on his bike.
