James Toney is the single largest nuthugged boxer on ESB!!!!

    I can't stand this any longer its pissed me off too much I can't stay quiet anymore!....Toney this...Toney that...Toney would have been the 2nd coming of Jesus if......blah blah it never ends!!!!!

    The adultation Toney gets here is bloody stupid! You all ***** about Calzaghe's fans but the ball licking Toney gets here is off the scale! Speak about sheep syndrome! Toney aint no all conquering legend. Toney is a decent fighter but not a legend!!! Want proof? Look at the Holyfield win...oohh wow! Holyfield! And he beat him...gee a close quarters fighter beating a man who charges in head 1st his entire career pretty much giving Toney a schematic for winning; wow. Kinda like how Holyfield 'beat' tyson by head bashing him; hardly outboxing him! Toney could just fight on the inside well hence why he wiped the floor with Holyfield.
    There's no shame in winning on the inside but you need to recognise that for what it is, its a strength and not at all representational for overall greatness of a fighter!!!

    Don't believe me? Watch the tapes. The facts don't lie. Holyfield comes in, head 1st, Toney took advatage using his superior inside skills thats all. Holyfield's been doing that so long he had no other plan. Tyson, Lewis, Bowe, asame thing all fights. Very clear.

    Just look what happened when an outside fighter with talent takes him on (Jones); he gets embarassed and don't say it was a close fight it because it wasn't. Toney has never been able to close gaps, a good fighter with a nice jab has and will always keep this guy on the outside and own him, he's just too slow to close the gap, too sloppy he's like a counter puncher only he sucks people in moreso than a counter puncher usually would and deflects blows well setting himself for his superior inside work.

    Bottom line is Toney aint no great its his opponents stupidity at getting sucked in that ultimately costs them the fight not Toney's 'skillz'. If they control the tempo and keep their distance on the outside Toney is screwed. Peter did it; twice and look how **** he is!

    Honestly guys just quit it ok. All this Toney is God nonsense is wearing thin now so just stop it ok...........

    James Toney is a superior Athlete, and has accomplished more in 2 years than Fatso Sam Peter has done in his entire life. A lot of fighters are AFRAID to fight James inside because they will get their asses handed to them, like Rahman will tonite.

    james toney is liked is becuse people see his fat ass int the HW divison and figure they can do it too. thing is the man is pure skill and ring intellagence i still say him and B-hop should meet at HW

    I think Toney was a bit limited as a fighter as well, and was expecting to hear similar criticisms to my own, but what I read was a bunch of nonsense. Holyfield lost to Toney because he was a shot fighter, nothing more, nothing less, and he was far more than heads on brawler like you claimed.

    Toney was limited because he was a stationary fighter who relied on his opponents to come to him, creating countering opportunities which he was great at exploiting and capitalizing on. Against the movers, you saw his lack of footwork, and quite simply, how out of place he looked when pressing the fight with that same crab style. His best was in his MW days prior to his difficulties with making the weight, as he showed against McCallum in an extremely close, technical battle. He still showed in that fight that he shouldn't be favored over any top notch MW, Hopkins included. Nunn was also beating him prior to getting lazy as he always did. In fact, Nunn and Toney are two examples of fighter with very good abilities, just not the commitment. Nunn was likely even better though.

    lol..,toney is a masterful fighter..,you better move if ya want a chance..look at the first four rounds with ruiz..,hell thats how sam beat him by moving..,


    toney looks easy to beat but when fighters get in the ring with him seems a lil different now doesnt it!!!!
