the thing with toney is he's a great talent in boxing, but with his conditioning and the style he uses makes for boring fights, and his style also will make it hard for him to be a threat in UFC. his skill is excellent, but his size, power will let him down. a successful boxer in UFC needs to be aggressive and have power, then you'll have a guy knocking asses out for fun.
he's so damn fat!! i think it would be equal in a standing fight, but if it ends in a ground fight its lights out for toney.
There's a clause in the contract both fighters need to come in at 220 or below, so Toney's in decent shape for this fight. At 46 years, and focusing on making movies, Couture looked like crap in his last fight. Don't forget, striker Chuck Liddell had Randy's number aswell. I think this fight is a lot more evenly matched than people realize.
Bull****. 20 years and tons of great fights. You can't overlook his body of work and just judge off this old, shot version of James. He's 42, anything he does now is irrelevant to his legacy.
