Watched the fight today, I know Iran was coming in with damage to his eye and had seen better days, but Toney really did a job on him!! He'd stop Hearns And perhaps sugar Ray and Duran. He really was a beast then.
Toney dominates them. Some of the rounds themselves may be competitive, especially early rounds. But Toney would then take over.
i think he beats them up badly. SRL and Duran are cagey enough to last the distance by going into defensive mode. Hearns gets stopped.
Yep can see Tommy getting stopped. Duran had the Chin i think to survive the end but takes a beating. Not sure about Ray. As brilliant as he was, by super middle he was definitely looking vulnerable. If Tommy could put him down then a young Toney can.Idk Possibly he loses a decision but like the Norris fight he gets kd a few times.
It would be interesting to see Duran's experience fare against Toney's skills and youth. Sure he would get beaten by that version of Toney even if he appears like the Barkley/Sims/Hagler fight,but I wanna see how good of a pocket bomber it would become.
