this comes from a great middle, super middle, light heavy....but one that got beat by oquendo, and alot of people thought he lost to danny batchelder in a sloppy 10 round spilt dec win

Yes I know, Toneys bitching is getting old. Especially since he's not doing **** (in boxing) anymore. Toney should just retire. And this is coming from a fan.

But he's right in that Arreola wanted no part of a shot old Toney, and that he (Toney) whoopped Arreolas ass in sparring. Or rather: Arreola wanted to fight Toney, but Al Haymon pulled the brakes on that fight and got Brian Minto as an opponent for Arreola instead. Toney is also right in that Arreola is an unskilled hypejob.

 

His rants aren't even worth reporting now. I seriously don't know why the hype of a fight continue to publish that stuff.

Especially after Toney declined to face Banks and Tony Thompson. He goes to the UFC and fights Couture, well 90% of boxing fans are not UFC fans, they don't care.
