Well, that is a good question and that is also why this bout is so intriguing as you do not know how a master boxer like Toney will attack Klitschko. But make no mistake about it, Toney will find ways to get to you: the body of Klitschko will be there all night long. It may not be enough to win but this one but it will be fun to watch.

 It's not as if James can't fight 12 rounds even if he's out of shape. He's proven that a few times....and he actually wins although sometimes he gets the short end of the stick. Can JT beat Wald....YES! Will he, not likely.

Wald is very big, has long arms and holds a lot. It will be hard for James to keep Wald from laying on him and tieing him up whenever he gets on the inside. If Wald doesn't hold and Toney can do his work on the inside then Toney wins without much doubt.

The Jab of Wald will only be effective if Wald doesn't allow for inside fighting b/c with James upper body movement and head movement he can definitley get inside Wlads Jab...it's what happens after he gets inside where the fight will be determined.

Toney is definitely one of the most skilled active fighters right now, not just in the Heavyweight division but in boxing as a whole. His problems right now are major, his ability to stay in shape and his age but you have to admire his will to continue.

:patsch Are you serious?:-( #1 James hasn't ever been KO'd by anyone large or small and James wasn't the one Knocked down 3 or 4 times by Sam peter.

#2 James is in shape at HW or he was in his last fight. he doens't look the part only b/c he's not a natrual HW. He's gonna look fat in this division. No way around it. but he still has his skills in tact which wins fights.

Wald will most likely beat James at this point but it won't be a cake walk and you'll see A LOT of holding once again from Wald to allow him to beat James. The jab and straight right from Wald will be his bread and butter. But that will be hard to land for a while until James begins to tire from the holding and the laying Wald will be doing.

Peter knocked Toney down with a jab. Toney has no chance against Klitschko.

Really how? Catch him with one of his HUGE punches he has at Hvyweight. He beat a washed up Holyfield. Even a prime Holyfield is a completely different fighter then Wlad is and it takes different types of tools to beat him. Don't be foolish enough to think the Holyfield sheds ANY light on how a fight with Wlad would've gone. Wlad has his flaws, yes I agree, but get one thing straight......No version of James Toney, being as small and feather fisted as he is had what it takes to beat Wlad. Avoid a KO? Possibly, but do enough to win on Points....HELL NO!

Right....go ahead and call it what you want. But any logical and level headed person knows that that Sam peter Jab wasn't what caused James to "TOUCH" the canvas. It was more of James being off balanced than anything else and James wasn't hurt.

Wald on the other hand was on all "4's" when Same connected....and they weren't even flush. Anyone has a chance against Wald given his fragile chin. but it's just not likely that James will pull off the "W" at this stage in his career and given the style Wald uses. Just doesn't give a small man much of a chance to acutally fight or box.

It's extremely difficult to outpoint and beat a fighter like Wlad without hurting him....and Toney can't hurt him.

Toney was not as off balance as you make it out to be.
