I agree.....but I do think James can hurt Wald. That's not saying much...the problem is will James be able to work on the inside when he gets there. And evenetually I see Wald being able to fight his fight on the outside where James shouldn't be with a guy like Wald. Wald could gas himself fighting a guy like James...he's sure enough be missing and hitting air much of the fight...if James comes to the fight in shape and using his footwork to his advantage.

Wlad was hit flush by Tony Thompson and did not even flinch. Thompson is not a big puncher but I am pretty sure that being 6'5" and 247 lbs he punches harder than former middleweight James Toney who has 1 KO in 9 HW fights.

Klitschko vs. Toney is a mismatch... end of story!

If Wlad did not gas against a big guy like Tony Thompson how on earth is he going to gas against James Toney? That makes no sense.

Wlad would gas against Toney?:lol::lol::lol:

Toney is a freaking stationary target who spends most time against the ropes. He doesn't pressure either. It won't really matter how good Toney's defense is. If you can't pressure Klitschko and you're not a big puncher, you have ZERO chance.

By saying that Toney would pressure Wlad's RIGHT HAND with repeated HEADBUTTS, he meant that Toney would repeatedly get hit with flush right hands. Can you even read, genius?

Its not that it makes no sense, you just aren't thinking the way I am, just like many weren't thinking the way I was when I said Marg was going to KO Cotto by round 11.

Wald didn't waste alot with Thompson! He wasn't swining and missing much and he didn't have to work alot...Thompson was very active and niether was Wald. which is normal at HW.

You see when Wald faught a guy like Brewster where he was having to throw a lot, he gassed. He'll have to throw alot to keep Toney on the outside and he'll miss a lot which takes more energy especailly for a big man. But on the inside Wald can easily tie james up and lay on him. That will take a lot out of James over a 12 round fight.

True......but a lot goes with the tecnique, accuracy and placment of punches. You can really wear down your oppoenet with consistant and accurate punches which is what James will have to do. Plus Toney would have to dig at Walds body which James is very good at.

LOL!!!! You clown. Do you know the definition of "Stationary"? Obviously not. Toney has the best head and upper body movement in the HW divison. He uses more angles and lateral movement than any HW in this era...even the last era.

Grant it....when he's in the 230+ range he's not quite as Mobile for "HIS STANDARDS" but against the rest of the HW's Toney is like a river compared to rocks in terms of mobility homie. Don't get it twisted.

James will apply pressure but I think given Walds style that will be nullified. Wald will lay on james when he gets on the inside and Wald will tie James up so he can't get off with his offense until the ref seperates them.

At that point we'll see Wald pop off the jab and straight right, which he'll mostly miss until the later rounds when both James and Wald tire...who is the most damaged and tired will loose. And I think James at this stage will loose, but it won't be an easy fight for Wald.

Yes, given Toney's significant height disadvantage the uncommon, yet very effective strategy of headbutting your opponents fist would be a big mistake to employ! :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

...Toney fought Peter 24 rounds and went down once, and was right back up...2 seconds maybe.

WLAD fought Peter for 12 rounds and was down 3 times...

...and it was 14 years since Toney had been down, it's probably going to be a long time before he's down again...

...how many times has KLIT been down...???

Toney is better skilled than KLIT...his physical disadvantages are not insurmountable.

Holyfield serves a purpose here...even "washed up" Holyfield. Toney KOd him...IGGY couldn't do it, but IGGY got a title shot, and got decisioned by WLAD...I see no reason that Toney couldn't get a decision loss against WLAD. He's better than IGGY, and he will be more effective.

I'm going against the grain here, and saying that if Toney can win...it would be by KO.
