“I watched two rounds of (Wladimir) Klitschko fighting some bum from D.C. (Tony Thompson) and shut it off .

HBO should be shot in the ass for spewing out all that money to him and his sister, Vitali. That’s right, fool, his sister can’t fight either. They won’t fight anybody so they sure won’t fight me."

My old dad is 71 years old and laughed his head off at that interview, especially the "**** em" part and when he stomped off from Grey saying "I don't even like you man"

Interestingly my dads seen a fair number of fighters come and go in his time as you can imagine - James Toney is the only one from the last 20 years that he really rates, skills-wise.

Yes, he does...a better chance I might add than guys like IGGY, Austin, or the medically suspended version of Brewster.

I'm not Toney hatter and respect him as fighter and find funny his trash talk! BUT He would get ko'd by Wlad in 4 rounds! He now is just too old slow and has lost reflexes!

    THEY ALL TALK ****!!!
Toney, Haye, Brewster, Povetkin, all of em...

Just goes to prove my point that Wlad is the #1 guy. They all need to beat him to get respect and to add $$$$ to the old bank account

I see Toney's self promotion schpeel as rather sad, these days.

But if he were to beat a couple good opponents, I am sure he'd be seen as a viable opponent for the upper tier heavies, once again.

But to hear him say he was the best heavyweight in the world, after that dismal Peter rematch. That was almost sad. I was embarrassed, for him. It was like he went on automatic pilot and could not truthfully address what had just happened, so his automatic reflex was to immediately go into his I am the best heavyweight in the world, bit, and I think everyone, even Goosen, were somewhat hanging their heads to hear him do that bit, at that point, after being KDed, outboxed, and beaten by the crude Peter.

It was like a sudden realization that Toney, at his age, is clearly diminished in physicality, and skill, but forever in his self promotion style of cocky interviewing, Toney, himself, don't seem to realize it........ or just can't accept it.

But, I am wiling to give him another chance, seeing as how he managed to get Rock to quit in that recent fight. Maybe he can regain some of his form and reflexes, with the much, MUCH needed weight loss and better conditioning.

    Go, Toney.

He's put that performance behind him.

...the only HW to beat Toney is Sam Peter...anybody who wants Toney, call Dan Goosen...

Something I do find funny is while Wlad has been busy fighting and unifying 2 belts the past 3 years or so Toney has been doing nothing but talking, stuffing his fat face with Triple Cheeseburgers, getting suspended for Steroids and talking some more. Ironically, talking is what his fans on here are good at also.

Toney is 40 years old, fat, and addicted to steroids and Burger King he is finished as a serious fighter in the Heavyweight Division. In 2015 he and his fans will probably be telling us on here how he is going to "knock all the bums out" (even though he has 1 KO at Heavyweight) etc.etc.etc. :patsch

Toney had his chance to fight wlad in nov 06 and turned it down using $$$ as a pretense. fact is, that fight would have paid him more than any fight he's had since.

problem for toney is his lack of foot movement. wlad has tremendous foot speed. he keeps the fight on the outside and ****in bombs toney to death.
