Someone could've been conceived that night, gotten born, had a kid of their own (granted, while still a teen, but technically doable) and have that kid hitting puberty currently. :scaredas:

Obviously Tarver is scared of Toney. He fought all those tomato cans at heavy instead of having a larger pay day against Toney.

    Both are shot now though

Toney has been over-the-hill for years now................however, he could probably beat Wilder................

How about an old guy tourney...Toney, Jones, Holyfield and Ruddock.

Winner will be drafted to fight Wilder.

How the f**k can James Toney get a licence to fight ?

Anyone with eyes and ears can see that he's a brain-damaged punch-drunk old man.

    It's shocking. :-(

I think I remember watching that Prizefighter(?) Gavern loss thinking that Toney won (shouldve gotten nod).

Fight makes sense for Toney: fighting a no risk tune up while being in shape is probably the best he can do at this point. In case of a win, he should rematch Gavern and look for fights with other fighters his age (Tarver, Jones Jr, Maskaev, Rahman etc.) before retiring for good with a 100 fights under his belt.

I checked Box Rec and Roy Jones has 3 fights scheduled during the next 6 weeks. JT should adopt the same strategy, instead of going through lengthy periods of inactivity again.

Yep, having a busy schedule would indeed make sense for JT. Tarver would be available in the fall, provided he does not make it past Cunningham.

JT is aiming for a 100 fights - which leaves him with half a dozen fights to compete. He should team up with Jones and launch a couple of doubleheaders before the year ends before retiring in 2016.

Probably has a lot of mouths to feed, child support etc.

Or hes deluded and still thinks he can pull it off. (whatever IT is)

    or he misses the attention
