So he's putting out the impression that he's monumentally overweight so that when he shows up merely grossly overweight everyone will think it's a good effort?

Expectations management of this kind is now officially known as the 'Sarah Palin Strategy' I believe.

Are you implying that Toney isn't a great fighter by that?

Toney stopped a slightly fresher version of Holyfield than the one Donald faced. The Holyfield stoppage was a good win for Toney, even if Holy was past his best - don't try to diminish it.

    Toney is a great fighter.

But his Holyfield win is quite overrated.. it was good, but overrated.

Toney was a natural middleweight!! No-one can diminish the value of him stopping an ATG heavyweight (even if EH was well past prime).

He has most certainly been above 245 pounds. He has gone into camp pushing 300 pounds. Who are you kidding?

I think you are kidding too, if he is going into camp pushing 300 and never been above 245 at the weight in it means he is loosing like 55 lb during the camp :patsch

that's different than what he last said on the Versus card where Toney acknowledged again that his failure to keep in shape had cost him. That being said i know what he means when he says he's 260 and doesn't feel/look That out of shape. I'm almost 6'1 but my weight gets to 260 quickly (i'm naturally bulky like toney and lift weights) and i don't feel that fat or out of shape and i actually do a lot of cardio and still carry that weight

For a natural middleweight, of course it was a big deal. If you don't understand that, that's your problem.

It is a known fact Toney has had to lose in upwards of 60 pounds in camp. Sorry to burst your bubble.
