James Toney says he would drop down to 185 and fight Hopkins!

If Toney came in at 185 he would probably be completely drained. However since alot of his weight is fat maybe, just maybe he could get down to 200 and fight at cruiser. Istill dont think Hopkins would go up to 195 lbs to fight him. I think Hopkins would go up to 185 lbs and no higher.

 

Toney continues to talk trash only the idiots will believe him.

Toney said he wants both Klitschkos and when he was approached he ran with his KFC bucket stuck between his legs.

Depends really on much is muscle mass and how much is flab. I would guess that he has about 42lbs of flab so if he's serious it could be done. It certainly would be in the best interests of his health. However given that he came in at 237 for a world title fight it's about a 0.5% chance that he would have the motivation to go through with it

Toney should instead call out Audrey in a battle for the Bordering On Mentally Ill-Deluded Heavyweight Championship.

 

He used to come down regularly from 230 to 190 in the early naughties when fluctuating between cruiser and heavy so wouldn't be anything he hadn't done before. The problem is his motivation to do so. Outside of the ring Toney has never been a hard worker.

Toney could get to 185 if he tried, he is only a heavyweight because he is a fat *******, its not like he has to lose muscle like Roy Jones had to...

 

Toney should keep his mouth shut and get is ass down to 220lbs - to do that will be difficult enough for him at this stage. 185lbs is a joke and nobody believes it, not even Toney himself. Why does he say such things when he can't even get down to 220lbs, which is the absolute maximum weight he should be at if he wants to be in halway decent shape..

 

Toney is more muscular than that, he did a lot of weight lifting and you can see he got huge shoulders and neck - if he lost all his fat he'd be around the 200lbs mark I guess, like he was at CW, no way he can make 185lbs again without losing muscle.

 

Toney is just talking out of his ass. he knows dam well he could never make it to 185. This is a fight that should had happened years ago. We missed out on a good one.
