He's a delusional ****wit who i just wish would retire. He has no business in the sport today and will achieve absolutely nothing.

He cannot even attain the magical 217 lbs he was at when he trounced Holyfield.

Now he's going to be a cruiser at 32 lbs LESS than that ideal weight?

    Bollocks.

BHop would beat Toney if they both fought at open weight.

Both men enter the ring at whatever weight they choose.

I would expect Bernard to come in at 190-195 and James to come in between 220 and 230.

I have little doubt that Bernard would take the UD.

I would love this fight to be announced not really for the fight but the trash talk and 24 7 episodes would be priceless

Just like he was gonna knockl out Fres, and Ruiz, and Peter, and Rahman,
    ughh lol

He should lose some weight and fight some semi worthy opponent like Shannon Briggs, McCall, or Samil Sam in a loser retires match and go from there. :p

If he could have dropped down to 185 he has been wasting his time at heavyweight then

LoL. What is he gonna do, turn into mr. potatohead and start removing body parts to make the weight? Toney has weighed over 260 before, and everyone knows he's one of the laziest fighters ever. Dude couldn't even make 225 again. Hopkins could meet him @ a catch of 200 and whip him.

Who is that good looking babe commenting on boxing for the Quebec networks? I believe she is also a manager too.

Sigh... James has ****ing lost it.

On the other hand, if he sticks a 2 by 4 under the scales, gets Glen Hamada and Doug Tucker to judge the fight, and hires Teddy Atlas to do blow by blow, he might scratch out a draw.

I wouldn't give Toney a snowball's chance in hell of losing so much weight. He looked well overweight in recent fights! At his age and his considerable mileage i think it would severely drain him of any energy and power, quite similar to DLH v pacman. The only chance i see for this fight is some catch weight or even Hopkins moving up. I seriously doubt if this will happen though.

I actually thought that was a walrus from the still at the start before you click 'play'.

On topic, no way is he making 185. He's not even motivated enough to be able to get in shape and try and earn a shot at becoming world HW champion, let alone dropping 50lbs for a fight with B-Hop.

Not going to happen, at all. How many years have passed since Toney last made 185? 10, 11, 12? Even if he did make it, he'd be very drained. Even if he wasn't, Hopkins still beat him comfortably.
