Prime Roy Jones Jr and James Toney at SMW would beat Joe Calzaghe!!! I know some of you guys just started watching boxing when Toney and Jones were getting old and losing fights and Joe was still in shape beating nobodies and looking like the best thing since slice "white bread" but lets be real no way in hell he could beat both these guys in their primes.... At best I would give Joe Cal a SD over Toney (on a bad night) but no way he beats Roy Jones....

A top 5 list in no order an just off the top picks would be
    1. Roy Jones Jr
    2. Steve Collins
    3. James Toney
    4. Joe Calzaghe
    5. Chris Eubank

No, neither in terms of resume or talent.

The basis that the only 168lb fight he's seen his whole life is probably Toney vs Barkley.

Your a joke and you know nothing about boxing :-( these are the kinds of comments I consider irrelevant, only true boxing fans understand and appreciate defensive fighting styles like Toney, Whitaker, Mayweather, and Archie Moorer. Anyone who slanders them they don't know anything about boxing what so ever, this style alone is the most difficult one to master in boxing and it's a rarity when you find someone who can do it good. James Toney had some of the best boxing talent ever.

All the people saying Jones was the best super middle is a joke too because he beat a james toney who was weight drained and not 100 percent, faced just as good of talent as james did. lets not forget when jones beat hopkins it was at MIDDLE and not super middle. I will call jones one of the greatest of all time but not at smw he was great as a middleweight and a lightheavyweight because of his resume there, but even then he got stopped by tarver and johnson

:patsch Toney's resume, just at SMW, is not as deep as others. If I had to pick a H2H fighter at SMW I'm easily going with RJJ over Toney. Ergo, Toney cannot be the greatest SMW ever.
