Toney is older than Jones , fought Lebedev after Jones did and still did much better , so it does count .
Regarding most of their other mutual opponents i gave my explanation in 1 of my previous posts in this thread .

If I thought so then I would have posted lots of dumb **** .

 

Is it fair to measure Toney and Jones against all-time by looking at how they performed against Lebedev when they where both well past their best?

I already explained y in my previous post but i will repeat it in a clearer manner 4u :
Jones was 42 when Lebedev stopped him and Toney was 43 when Lebedev failed 2 even knock him down .
This is y this comparison is relevant .
If Jones fought Vassily Jirov or Evander Holyfield come 2003 or if Tarver fought Toney come 2004 d same would have happened .
But I guess ppl like u would say that 2003 & 2004 don't matter either .

Jones didn't come close and knew y he wasn't even trying 2 "paste Toney's arse" .

And Toney was severely drained in that fight , it just wasn't him but it was still enough 2 give Jones a 12 rounds of skipping & jumping out of his way .
