This is up on the site that hypes fights. He was offered 15k and the opportunity to fight a Klitshcko (i think thats bull btw). But he turned it down because of the low money.

Personally i have to agree with Toney on this one. A mutliple weight champion, ATG fighter shouldn't get 15k even if he is irrelevant now. But thats just me. What do people think?

If there was a cast iron contractual guarantee that a Klit fight followed for the victor then he should have taken it but surely any fight with even a faded Toney involved should generate enough cash to pay him more than 15k? Seems an unlikely tale to me...

Well he hasnt been relevant in almost a decade. He should have taken the shot so he could still show people what he can do

With him losing all that weight and the fight being in the D I think it would bring in a very decent crowd. So I think they should up the money and make it happen!

Give him $30K and lets see what he has got left!

Goosen said last year the best payday he could get Toney in Boxing was 50k. The guy hasn't won a meaningful fight in years and is way out of shape nobody takes him seriously anymore and he has nobody to blame but himself.

James needs to retire. His speech is slurring badly and he is becoming a joke. He had a great career but he needs to hang 'em up.

Toney's fights are much more entertaining then the Klits. He is right in turning down that insulting chump change.

he's lost the weight and the man has skill, i really like his defense and he has decent hand speed. he's provided great intertainment over his career so i'm willing to see what he has left
