No it depends on who the fighters are. in this one only a nutthugger would say Calzaghe has a better resume than Toney.

There must be many journey men in any division who have fought a lot of the top men in their division. Only problem is what is their win/loss ratio against these top opponents? Probably not great.

    A little naive.

Most users have the sense to chemically mask the presence of steroids in their system. It's only when they get careless and miss out (or miss-time )the masking agent that they get caught.

Marion Jones tested clean at the olympics. It was only years later that she was caught, and not by testing but rather, by testimony.

I have no evidence one way or the other. I KNOW he was using at heavy-wt, and I merely asked:

" How do you know it was only at Heavy-weight ? "

Nope, they should just present their reasons for why they think that.

on the one hand you say you will give calzaghe zero credit whatsoever if he beats roy jones .

on the other you say james toney`s best performances come against fighters

like holyfield/mccallum/guinn/barkley/etcetc all who had multiple loses coming in to average or journaymen fighters and were in the last fight

one rule for calzaghe and another rule for toney !

calzaghe resume is ok , people make out its ****

    opponents calzaghe beat

glen catley-168 world champ ko 1

mark prince gave darius michaelzweski a very good world title fight -ko2

    chris byrd ko 3

world champs in world title fights
    eubank
    reid
    woodhall
    brewer
    mitchell
    lacy
    kessler

    hopkins non title fight

    solid contenders like
    bika
    veit
starie-just beat woods to give woods first loss

    punchers like
    delaney
    mrkitchian

    handled young prime fighters like
sheika easily after sheika has just beaten glen johnson in the fight before

like any resume it can be picked apart but it is a lot better than people make out.

in 2006/07/08 calzaghe has taken on three 50/50 fights , yet it is only after the event people disregard his opposition.

James Toney's resume. Joe Calzaghe's resume is so poor it's really hard to pick him against anyone.

Toneys workrate shits allover Joes but i think Joe probably beats Toney at both 168 and 175 due to intelligent pressure and workrate.

Eubank would be a former would champ, in a world title fight. It was vacant, but still...
