LOL that would be funny

Hell I might of given him a few votes myself - his nuthuggers seem to have deserted him for the time being. Slappy-so-lonely....:rofl

If you really think Calzaghe resume is better than Toney's, you know nothing about boxing.

Iran Barlkey, MikeMCallum, Jirov, Nunn, ever heard of those names.
He also beat good fighters like a prime Regie Johnson Tim Littles Williams, Washington just to name a few. Not to mention the fact that he fights against top heavyweights today which was unimaginable back then.

His two losses with Griffin were very controversial, the second loss was voted by the Ring Magazine as the worst decison of 1996. I doubt you saw those fights.

The fight against Thadzi was very close, Toney landed the cleaner more accurate punches, but I guess the judges just got tired of Toney showing up out of shape in the mid 90's.

Lets just ignore Toney's loses, because they of course don't matter on a resume.

You have not given one logical reason why resume/legacy/greatness needs be taken into account when compiling a P4P list.

Semantics are not your strong point and you are too ignorant and set in your incorrect ways to realise this. The same applies to your more broad opinions on Joe Calzaghe.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pound_for_pound - No mention of greatness/legacy is included.

I am quite serious on the matter mate.

It is the only way a fighter like Calzaghe can get his due and bypass all the politics, biased pro American based fighter, anti-European media and general ducking that goes on in the sport of boxing.

Actually, semantics are my strong point, as I am studying for a PHD in English Literature. You thought p4p and h2h were the same thing, and when it was pointed out to you by numerous posters that they were not the same thing at all, you didn't even have the maturity or decency to acknowledge you were wrong. You're beyond help.

    Whoa, chill out bro :scaredas:

You gotta realize the vast majority of posters on here have no clue what they are talking about. These guys will post comments on a fight having never watched it (without the boxing knowledge to analyse the fight anyways). They usually just post stats from Compubox to back up thier nonsensical arguments (it's funny when it proves the opposite of the point they were making).

Look just let it wash over you and try and have fun with it :happy

God only knows the most talented jesters put on earth are Calslappy fans. :D

Some of the **** these guys come out with - hell I thought I got lost in a forum full of Comedy Central scriptwriters

Try not to take it too seriously - some of them are obviously wind-up artists (and good ones at that).

Cheers for that mate, sometimes I get really pissed off with trolls like chinahandjoe and pugilist, who taint a good boxing forum with their ridiculously biased fanboy garbage and diabolically dire lack of boxing knowledge, but then when I read a post from someone like yourself who can clearly see how pathetic they are as well, the anger drains away and is replaced by amusement.

These trolls are continually proved wrong and embarrassed by objective fans with some knowledge- long may it continue!! :hey

Did you count Chris Byrd in there? HAHAHAHA that's pretty sad when you need to pad your argument with AMATEUR fights that don't count toward a PROFESSIONAL record.

If that's the case then Miguel Cotto already had 2 losses before the one against Margo, since he was beaten in AMATEURS by Abdullaev and Pinto.
