If Bernard Hopkins wins a title at Cruiserweight, and James Toney move's back down to Cruiserweight.

What a build up, what an event.

    Really?

Toney is done. I can't see him stop eating twinkies to move down to CW.

Ive wanted to see this fight so bad years ago but the bus has gone. Toney can't make CW period and he seems to be pretty much done as a fighter. Anyone who struggles with that bum Oquendo needs to hang them up....

Years ago, this would have been a dream fight and I would lean towards toney..

This fight could happen at HW because I remember BHOP talking about fighting Holyfield. I would like to see this one just out of curiosity.

Toney will have to accept about 5% of the purse

    Is Toney REALLY DONE..?

No "Middle Weight fighter 40+" stays competitive at Heavyweight, if they are Done..?

James Toney is not done, he is cut from the same cloth as Bernard Hopkins.

Toney aint done, anyone take a look at the Heavyweight landscape lately? It's wide ass open, and unlike some other fighters in the division, Toney actually has a name people know. If Holyfield at the age of 45 could pretty much beat a WBA champ, and Ruiz is still floating around getting title shots, why not Toney? I guy who beat both men easily just a few years back.

I must also point out, his match against Rahman showed he could still counter punch quite effectively and was on his way to knocking out Rahman until he decided to quit on his stool after the 3rd round. The same Rahman that just lasted 8 rounds with Wlad in his last fight.

Why? On his own, Bernard Hopkins couldnt draw flies. As it is, as a Lt. Hvyweight, he had to tie pork chops around his head so the dogs would play with his overrated ass. Bernard is no ****ing Pretty Boy by a longshot. :good

Toney has a better chance of leading the Detroit lions to a SB win next year then making 200 pounds.

He struggled with a guy like Oquendo for 12 rounds in a fight I barely remained awake for and won on a SD.

Hopkins unlike Toney is still a threat to the top players of the divisions he is apart of. You can't compare Hopkins to Toney. Toney can't even get in shape for a fight. Years ago this would have been one hell of an interesting fight to watch. But today?

Being competitive at HW now'a'days is not that big or hard of an achievment. Toney is done. I don't see him beating any of the current HW beltholders...or even CW for that matter.
