    James Toney
Far more active at that weight and age. Saunders has not fought the proper competition to even compare the 2 let alone say that Saunders could win.

    Toney of course.
Even without him juiced up to the brim, his style would probably be all wrong for BJS. And it would take place in the US, with zero chance of BJ stopping James, so he would win on the scorecards anyway.

All that movement will definitely give Toney problems, his style was more effective when opponents came to him so he could slip and counter. Guys with good movement gave him problems. But BJS has a lot to prove before he's favoured over Toney. If Toney can chase down and stop Nunn he can do the same with BJS.

    Saunders UD.

Styles make fights, and BJS is the wrong one for Toney, regardless of the argument James has for being the greater overall middleweight.

Good point on the cards, but Toney didn't do great with movers and didn't blow out the very good middleweights he did fight.

BJS is faster and more mobile than Toney, and more durable than Nunn was. In a neutral venue, he'd do enough to win. In the states? They'd probably rob him. Toney never had cards go against him at 160- only when promoters soured on him at 175 did that start happening.

BJ's head shortly would be reported as seen flying over the Arena as an Unidentified Flying Saucer.

Toneys counters would rip BJ apart.

Come on, what next? "Who Wins BJS or a Prime SRR?"

I like BJS, he is very good but this is getting a little bit silly now, it was a very good win against DL away from home but that's all it was.

They'd probably never fight each other even if they were in the same era.

LMFAO. What is with this threads. First Canelo vs Jones Jr., now Saunders vs Toney. Toney would whoop Saunders' arse.
