Lee won vacant title (WBO) against Korobov.

Lemieux won vacant title (IBF) against N'Dam.

I'm still confused. Do you not rate the WBO as highly as IBF? I don't see why Lemieux is a more valid titlist than Lee to you.

 

Possible reason is, Isal hates 3G. And he wants 3G's best win to be over the most overrated fighter he can come up with. You'll catch on to him

 

Gotcha, I was unaware that Lee was a WBO titlist. With that being the case I would have to reconsider my stance on DL being higher quality opponent.

We all know your agenda with 3G. Remember when after canelo beat Liam Smith, you said if 3G fought smith next, that would be 3G's toughest fight. Remember saying that stupid crap?

Fact is that Liam Smith was in his prime, and was a world titlist making him a very credible opponent for anyone.

David Lemieux was regarded as Golovkin's best win. There is not much that really separated Lemieux and Smith in terms of accomplishments except that DL had losses to Rubio who KTFO and a loss to Alcine who outboxed him, while Liam Smith was in his prime and undefeated. David Lemieux also had ZERO successful defenses of his IBF title where Liam Smith had two successful defenses of his WBO title.

So despite my statement being a bit controversial, it is not far fetched when you consider the FACTS.

I like GGG, and I have rooted for him and have actually gone to one of his fights, I just get very annoyed with his fans and I wasn't very thrilled that it took him so long to take on a credible opponent.

I dont recall using the term great in reference to those wins, but did write that it was at a higher level in those 26 fights than what Toney operated at
This seems to get under your skin to the point that you want to bring up ages and later fights in Toneys finished career and talk about amateur fights.
Stick to where we can talk about what they have done and Saunders has only had 26 fights. In those 26 fights he mixed at a higher level than what Toney did in his first 26 fights.

So I guess with such logic then, you must feel Tiberi has a greater MW career than Saunders based on looking like he beat Toney?
One win doesnt suddenly become a greater career. It may be a greater signature win but not overall greater.
So we come back to your logic of Toneys MW resume must have been greater than Hopkins if you rate Nunn greater than any Hopkins opponents?

Its like saying Wilder took 33 fights to win a world title whereas Joshua won a world title in his 16th fight... So what. things happen at different times.
Saunders hasnt been overly active and was apparently considering retirement.
So what if it took him 9 years to have 26 fights? Some fighters dont get to fight as often or have to wait for dates.

Also Saunders has beaten a world champ. Andy Lee was a world champ when Saunders beat him for the title. Which Saunders did in his 23rd fight. In Toneys 23rd fight he was having a rematch with S Williams who he had drawn with previously

 

Saunders has the perfect style to beat Toney, but we haven't seen Saunders against anyone of the level of Toney so I can't say, Saunders needs to fight someone good fast because he's 30 now and that style don't last very long
