Fraud? The guy fights anyone. If a prime Toney was around today, he would be willing to fight him. I love the way people say stuff like 'Fraud...*****...Coward'...with the safety of the computer screen in front of them. Every single person who insults said boxers would be ****ing all over them if they met them in real life, "Can I have your autograph?", ":asskiss"...etc. atsch
I am picking Froch because I am fed up of these ESB fantasy matchups involving Toney in which he magically becomes unbeatable in any fight. I remember the prime Tyson vs HW Toney thread and so many dumb Toney fans were saying he would school Tyson. Then there was the Toney vs either Benn or Eubank threads. I did not have a problem with people picking Toney in that one but some stupid things were being said like Toney would KO Eubanks in 2 rounds etc.
Why did you pick that Toney. Why do you even think that is a n impressive win. Nigel Benn had already destroyed Barkely in 1 round a few years prior and even then people were saying Barkely was shot. It was a probably a MW fight but the Toney who narrowly beat McCullam would have been a better choice.
168 toney could give froch a beating in terms of skill but i dont think hed stop him. Froch seems to be improving with each fight and coming from a former hater of froch i think he at least deserves a chance seeming as the guy he beat put hopkins down twice. Toney by Decision or Frock by Ko if his mrs flashed toney during the fight XD
In what way does this make sense to you? How about the dumb Tyson fans saying he would blitz Toney, a man who has not yet been anywhere near hurt in 80 fights, many of them after he turned 40? When Toney fought a prime Sam Peter (who obviously is a mere insect compared to prime Tyson) it was expected (not estimated) that Peter would flatten him like a bug. The most damage he could muster came from a jab that caught Toney off balance, and a barrage of overhand rights to the back of Toney's head. I'm not suggesting that Toney would destroy Tyson, but we have no evidence to suggest HW Toney would be stopped within a couple of rounds, and yet plenty of evidence to suggest that if he took Tyson into the deeper rounds, that Tyson would lose his head and run out of ideas. Eh, yeah there are idiots around. But your picking Froch over Toney only serves to put you in there with them, no?
Prime Toney stops Froch. I like Froch and I think he's a really good fighter, but his chin is not what it's made out to be at all, and Toney's accurate counters would be far too much for him. The younger Toney had underrated power and picked his punches brilliantly, I see no reason why he doesn't get a knockdown like Jermain Taylor did, but then savagely finish the job that Jermain Taylor was incapable of.
...Why? Toney is more powerful than Jermain Taylor and insanely more crafty and a much, much, much, much better finisher. Toney stopped Michael Nunn, FFS.
Well, I'll tell you, I did NOT photoshop this, and it's the cover of their actual book on amazon currently...Also, they've let themselves get extremely fat: This content is protected
Fraud? **** off. Anyway, Toney would either win a UD or perhaps get a late stoppage, possibly. Froch would face him though, make no mistake about it.
If Dirrell outboxes Abraham, it's a masterpiece. Froch does it even more successfully, and he's still a fraud. :think Pascal was green, Taylor was shot, Abraham was always ****, etc, etc, etc. Boxing fans are smart.
