Rodrigo Valdez would have beaten Nunn, the McCallum Toney faced and Johnson.

Not sure about the first two, actually. Nunn would seem a very bad stylistic matchup for Valdez on paper. Then again his spells on the inside and dangling chin would've been exploitable. Undecided on that one.

McCallum I'd probably back in a close one.

 

Prime for prime Valdez-McCallum is 50/50. Prime Valdez against Old McCallum goes to Valdez.

Nunn would get caught at some point. Valdez easily had the power to stop him and the ability to land those punches.

 

Reggie Johnson actually has a good style to upset Valdez, it would be close though.

Valdez better against the overall field, however.

 

It was always close with poor Reggie

 

Yeah, he was right there in every fight he lost at middleweight.And some he won too like Collins

 

Toney-Monzon - close either way fight, controversial either way

McCallum-Valdez - McCallum outboxes him and matches him when it comes inside

 

He should've never went to Argentina - they didn't like Reggie at all.

 

Monzon wasn't fast or a hard puncher, but he's a grinder who never stops working. Toney might counter punch some, but it won't be enough.
