I favour Toney in a close fight. But I do not have a problem with anybody picking Byrd

Byrd via wide UD. It will be a Roy Jones 2.0 performance at HW.

Nah. No way Toney can outpoint Byrd. He's too stationary & relies on people coming at him to be effective. Byrd will frustrate Toney's plan by being awkward in his stance & movement. Byrd is taller & longer so Toney will have no choice but to be the aggressor. Byrd will then peck away at Toney everytime he tries to open up with "Rapid Fire" counters. This is how the fight will play out for the whole bout pretty much. Toney will have a few moments where he gets in his signature counters but nothing else (plus they'll have no effect & Byrd will just shrug them off & taunt Toney with the funny, goofy faces he always made).

This would be a horrible fight t o watch. Byrd running, dodging punches while resting on the ropes, Toney's Man Boobs being a severe distraction, etc.

Toney never had to deal with the speed and movement of a guy like Byrd at heavyweight seeing as he fought guys like Peter and Rahman who came straight to him, Byrd is not gonna do that thus frustrating Toney and having to make him come forward which he would struggle badly with all that excess weight, Byrd by UD.
