Williams is known to be slightly crazy, though! I actually largely believed the weight. Danny was clearly much smaller than he has been in some time, and if anything lacked his usual power to push guys around. Maybe 228 was a bit too light, though.

And I have no problem believing fighters put on that kind of weight between fights. Even when Toney was fighting as a 190-pound cruiserweight he was getting up to 275 between fights!

Putting weight on, sure...but losing weight between fights?

**** knows the guys has so little self belief and cries sometimes before fights. Im sure he only boxes because it was his dads dream for his boy to be the Heavyweight champ of the world. In another life he would have been anything but a boxer.

I used to believe that increases like that were not possible. But when i saw a picture of Vargas a whopping 100lbs above his fighting weight it was then i believed. Some fighters put on phenomenal amounts of weight. I guess 40lbs for a man that big is no real problem.

The heavyweight WBC title is pointless these days. How can you consider yourself a credible title when this sort of **** keeps happening? Also, exactly how long is the WBC trying to make their list of mandatory challengers? They already have a Champion, and interm Champion, a former Champion who has dibs on the winner, the mandatory Challenger... and now they are having another eliminator?

It's pathetic because they are just trying to create a bunch of fights in which the fighters have to pay them sanctioning fees. What sucks is that by doing this they are virtually cementing the fact that they aren't interested in allowed any WBC Heavyweight Champion to fight in a unification.

I agree, they ought to have Suliaman's mental state checked by the proper authorities.

Yet another eliminator, at this point, is crazy. The mandatories are now about three or four DEEP, in the WBC, and PEter Oleg have not even fought, yet. They seem to want to have an entire two year period's fights, all planned out ahead of time.
